Survivors
The purpose of this page is to not only put together a database of surviving PAs, but to also see where these cars are located geographically. I know OF surviving cars in The Bahamas, Finland, Sweden, Canada, The UK and Ireland (not surprisingly :), Hong Kong, Australia and South Africa as well as one or two other roadworthy ones in the USA, both of which are in California. There's also allegedly one in Jamaica and one in Havana. Havana sounds plausible... there is a Ford Zephyr that's still on the road down there...
Vauxhall made over 177,000 PAs, with over 103,000 of them exported so they have to be scattered all over! They were sold new in Canada, Hong Kong, Western Europe, India, Pakistan, Africa, Australia, Mexico, Jamaica, Cuba, and The Bahamas to the best of my knowledge. Some more info would be very helpful here!
Unfortunately these cars just don't have a high survival rate. The serious lack of corrosion protection sent many of these cars to the scrapyard well before their time. The gentleman that I bought my Blue Velox from in Ontario, Canada mention how his father purchased an F-Type Victor when it was one year old and that 3 years later, when it was 4 years old, it had to be taken off the road due to rust!
